NystagViewTM’ goggles are mask-style goggles with limited lateral fields of view. Built in eye illumination and magnifying lenses (+20 diopters). Magnifying lenses prevent the patient from focusing their gaze. and the back light allows the examiner to clearly see the patients enlarged eyes. In this product, Illumination is made evenly around the perimeter of the eyes. Which makes it even More difficult to Fix the patients gaze.
Hidden spontaneous nystagmus is especially well determined in NystagView goggles in peripheral vestibulopathies and vestibular neuronitis. Meniere’s disease, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo during diagnostic and repositioning maneuvers and in Labyrinthitis.
